For being such a small country Scotland is full of amazing places. Sadly the weather doesn't always live up to much but when the sun is out there is nothing better than to be climbing the hills or out with sketchbook in hand.

This was a little commission I did for an Australian friend as she headed home after spending a year with us here in Scotland. I wouldn't use it to find my way around but it wouldn't look bad in a frame on a wall.

The West coast is a beautiful area of Scotland. It's rugged charm and warm colours make it a special place to visit.
Applecross is a wee gem of a place with stunning views over to the Cuillins in Skye and made up of quaint cottages and rolling fields. The Autumn colours were beautiful.
